Below are sample questions. They are designed for eighth through twelfth grades. 


"Got Shape" for 40 points; This form has a repeating section alternating a contrasting section in between.


"Tools of the Trade" for 20 points; A series of eight notes made of a combination of whole and half steps.


"It's Theoretical" ​for 100 points; This major scale has six sharps. 


"Genres" for 80 points; This music genre coincided with the Rococo period in art.

is a ‘Jeopardy’ type game using category headers with five choices underneath of varying point values. There is even a final question round worth additional points. This game is more challenging and is designed for students that are familiar with music elements, music history, instruments and well known works. Below is a draft of what the game board would look like but not the final product. Players gain points by answering with a question.
